There are 2 services you'll need for a working site - a domain and a web hosting plan for it. When you type the domain name in your browser, you see the content that’s uploaded in the hosting account, but if that domain address isn't linked to such an account or to an email service, it is parked. To put it differently, the domain address is registered and you are its owner, but it lacks content of its own. As a substitute, it can open either a pre-made “Under Construction / For Sale” webpage from the registrar company, or it could be directed to any other URL of your choice. The main benefit of parking a domain is that you can keep it and make sure that nobody else will take it. In the meantime, it will not take a slot for a hosted domain name in your account. You may also park domains if you have a .com, for example, and you register domains with other extensions like .net, .org or country-code ones to direct them to the main site as a way to protect a brand name.

Parked Domains in Hosting

You are going to be able to park as many domain addresses as you want with any of the hosting packages we provide. Of course, this feature is provided exclusively for domain addresses registered with us as the service is always provided only by the registrar. As opposed to most companies, we don't charge anything additional for parking a domain name and the process is going to take just a few clicks in your Hepsia Control Panel. We've got a couple of parking templates to select from where you can add custom text. If you choose to host a parked domain in the future, adding it to your account will take only a mouse click. Everything needed for the website to start showing up, including creating a domain folder and setting up DNS records is going to be done automatically by our system. The feature-rich Domain Manager tool will allow you to see a full list of the domain addresses that you have registered through our company and you will be able to set a filter to view just the parked or only the hosted ones.

Parked Domains in Semi-dedicated Servers

With each and every semi-dedicated server we provide you will have the opportunity to park as many domain names that are registered with us as you want. Considering that only the registrar company can offer a parking function, you can not park domain names that are only hosted on our leading-edge cloud hosting platform. From the Domain Manager section of your Hepsia hosting Control Panel you'll be able to park and un-park domains with as little as a few mouse clicks and filter all domains that you have by their status, for easier management. We provide a number of templates which you can use and if you prefer, you could also include some custom text to any of them. If you choose to un-park a domain and host it in your account, you won't have to do anything manually - our system will create a domain folder in the File Manager section and will create all the needed DNS records so that the domain address functions properly and starts loading the content you upload for it on our servers.
