Full Root-level Access in VPS Servers
If you buy a VPS servers from us, you will have full root-level access in 3 cases - if the server comes with no hosting Control Panel at all, or when you select cPanel or DirectAdmin during the order process. In the first case, you will be able to change any part of the system from a Secure Shell console, whereas in the second, you'll still be able to use SSH to connect and to make modifications, however you'll also have a graphical interface you can use to manage your web content and almost all of the system settings. The root access makes our virtual server packages a great choice in case you wish to run any kind of software that you can not install in an ordinary shared web hosting account. With the last Control Panel option - Hepsia, you'll be able to connect through SSH and to manage the content on your server, but the root access rights will be more restricted.
Full Root-level Access in Dedicated Servers
You will have full root-level access to your dedicated server regardless of what plan you choose throughout the signup process, as long as the server is ordered with cPanel or DirectAdmin, or with no web hosting Control Panel at all. In all of these 3 cases, you'll be able to change any part of the software environment in any way you see fit, that makes our server plans ideal for multi-media apps with specific requirements which cannot be covered if you use a shared hosting account. The difference between these options is the fact that with cPanel or DirectAdmin, you'll have a web-based graphical interface to manage many different server-side options and also any site content which you generate or upload, whereas if you order the server without a Control Panel, you'll have to perform everything with a Secure Shell console or to set up a Control Panel of your own liking, if it's compatible with the OS which you have chosen during the registration process. With the last Control Panel option that you're able to choose on the order page - Hepsia, the root access will be restricted.
