AAAA Records in Hosting
If you would like to create a new AAAA record for any domain name or subdomain hosted inside your hosting account, it will not take you more than a couple of basic steps to do that. Our in-house built Hepsia Control Panel is quite intuitive to use and is going to permit you to set up or change every record easily. After you log in and navigate to the DNS Records section, where you'll discover all present records for your domain addresses and subdomains, you will just have to click on the "New" button, select AAAA from a small drop-down menu within the pop-up that will appear, input or paste the required IPv6 address and save the modification - it is as easy as that. The new record will be 100% live within no more than one hour and the hostname which you have created it for shall start opening whatever content you have with the other company. If needed, you'll also be able to modify the TTL (Time To Live) value, which signifies the time in seconds the new record will be live after you eventually change it to something different or you simply delete it.
AAAA Records in Semi-dedicated Servers
In case you have a semi-dedicated server account from our company and you need to create an AAAA record for a domain you have hosted in it or a subdomain you've created, it will take you only a few mouse clicks inside the Hepsia Control Panel to accomplish this. Even if you have never had a hosting account before, you won't experience any difficulties because you will use a very simple and user-friendly interface. All of the DNS records for your domain addresses will be listed in a section of the CP with the exact same name, so once you go there, you'll see all records which have been set up automatically or manually and you're going to be able to create a new one by clicking on the corresponding button. A small pop-up shall appear, so with just a couple of clicks you can pick the type of record you require and for which domain name or subdomain it will be created. Next, simply paste the IPv6 address inside a text box, save the modification and an hour later the new AAAA record is going to be completely live. As an optional setting, you can pick the time this record is going to be active after you edit it or erase it in the future. That is the so-called TTL, or Time To Live value of the record, which you can modify from the standard 3600 seconds if the other company requires it.
