Set up in 2001, the .NAME universal top-level domain extension is the sole TLD supposed to be for personal sites only. These domains can include personal or fictitious names, aliases and/or other designations people are known by. At the beginning, solely 3rd-level registrations were possible, so if you wished to order john.doe.name, you were required to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration procedures were liberalized and 2nd-level registrations were also permitted. Already registered third-level names remained running.

You will have the chance to modify the WHOIS contact info, to park your domain, to edit Custom DNS records, etc. You can also move over an existing domain to our firm if you take its EPP transfer key from the present registrar and we will renew it after the transfer has been done.
